Today is Crazy Hat Day at St. Jerome's, in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday. (It's also Jon Bon Jovi's birthday. If only Mabel had a tiny pair of leather pants to wear in celebration.) Here's Mabel enjoying morning snacktime, looking glorious in her Crazy Hat. Which, upon further reflection, makes her look a bit like 1) a bridesmaid from the 80's and also 2) a little old lady at a tea party.

JBJ, HMMMM, well for the ladies, first she tried to get him on the board of The National Park Foundation when she worked there, ( she may have been successfull but fibberMacGeed to me - that is what we call a white lie or a class a Felony , in our household)
Then she tried to get him ( JBJ) and Carter (Roberts - EL JEFE WORLD WILD LIFE AND GUY SHE WRITES FOR) hooked up together with Matt Lauer on what ever morning show he does. anyway - not sure what happened but jbj wore a black jacket. Imagine that.
Anyway ,
I lose track,
Mabel is the best,
we laugh all the time, love her tons,and smile lots.
Our daughter is the bomb digghty.
I am blessed.Finally.
I like JBJ fine and Matt Lauer et al.
But compared to Mabel, they all suck.
I kid you not.If you met Mabel, or if you had a kid, and filled in your kids name instead of Mabels
we would be on the smae page.
